The Sounds of Touristification Map is the main output of the first edition of the course «The Sonic Ecology of the Tourist City» (Oct-Dez 2019). The course introduced ethnographic methods and sound recording and editing techniques to a group of international students with no previous experience working with sound and a small knowledge about the city. It was an opportunity then to unveil Lisbon by listening.
The result is a collaborative map that contains a selection of sound recordings that reflect the ever changing soundscapes of the tourist city.
